Artist residency

We make our 630 m2 space and our facilities available to circus companies and solo artists, so that they can create and practice their routines, at preferential rates, upon request. The Association of Z'amis du cirque

Created in 2011, our association, whose members are parents of our students, is non-profit organization. Our goal is to support and promote the Zôfy Circus School and its students in various ways: search for sponsors and funds to help finance material or artistic projects, search for people or temporary host families, help with organizing and promoting events, or recycling various objects to help design sets and costumes. We also represent the school in public events and ensure a one-off presence and assistance during external events and during annual shows.

With regard to fundraising, and despite all our efforts and our enthusiasm, the Association is not immune to the current financial situation post sanitary crisis, with restrictions of all kinds, and has difficulty in maintaining its role by relying soley on a few isolated donations. For this reason, the Association Committee and the School Management resolved to make the membership to the Association compulsory, as is already the case in many other schools and sports clubs, with an membership annual fee of 25 francs per family, billed upon registration.

Should you feel inclined to help us in any other way, any asssistance will be greatly appreciated, and we thank you very much in advance. Here are some suggestions ...

• You can donate equipment, fabrics, costumes, decorative object, stage props, etc...that you don't use.
• Do you have a spare room or folding bed? We are regularly looking for families or people willing to welcome circus artists or short-term trainees. Just contact us for any questions.
• You may want to give us some of your time to help us with the end-of-year shows, in particular with public refreshments, make-up for the children, or to set up/clear our stage/podiums.
• For any personal donation, please specify your intention, your name and address, at the time of payment, so that we can identify you.
